3DEP 1m
Description¶
The 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) 1-meter National Dataset provides high-resolution digital elevation data for the United States. Derived primarily from LiDAR and IfSAR sources, the dataset includes bare-earth Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) at a 1-meter spatial resolution. Managed by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), 3DEP aims to provide nationwide elevation coverage to support flood risk management, infrastructure planning, natural resource monitoring, and geospatial analysis. Data are available as seamless national layers and are updated as new elevation data become available.
